The dictionary definition of security would be freedom from threats, fear and dangers. The presence of peace, safety, gladness and the protection of human and physical resources or absence of crisis or threats to human dignity, all of which facilitate development and progress of any human society. Individual safety and security are important because both safety and security affect an individual’s well-being. Security is freedom from the threat or fear of harm or danger. Security reflects an important role in social life of human, basically security of individual social interacting with others depend on many factors: life. health, status, wealth, and freedom. Security for an individual in society is feeling safe and being free from doubt. A massive range of threats, dangers and doubts loom over everyone. and although the better off can distance themselves from some of these could be starvation, preventable/curable disease, incurable disease, criminal violence. economic exploitation, natural disasters, nuclear war, kidnapping and so forth. These social threats are categorised into physical threats (pain, injury, death), economic threats (capture or destruction of property, denial of access or unemployment, threats to rights (imprisonment denial of normal civil liberties). and threats to position or status (demotion, public humiliation).

Human activities associated with security

Security is also considered as a human relation with each other. A human sees other individuals as a threat and when there is room of threat in any relation, sentiments of insecurity took place. As Waltz describe that people, are insecure in proportion to the extent of their freedom. If freedom is wanted, insecurity must be accepted. On individual level as we notice that a person locks his house before leaving, put alarms in house for security or secure accounts by putting Pin or passwords, studies from good universities to get better job from other or to make its way among so many.

Insecurities of Global actors

International security can be achieved by two approaches: power, in the sense that an actor with enough power to reach a dominating position will acquire security as a result, or as a consequence of peace, in the sense that a lasting peace would provide security. The threats to international security in the 21st century are regional intimidation and interfering, global terrorism, health insecurity, use of chemical and other unconventional weapons, massive displacement of populations, and humanitarian crises- creates a complex operational environment. International relations help to ensure the global security through various institutes like states and international organizations, such as the United Nations, European Union, international court of justice, United nation security council, International Monetary fund, world health organisation and others. As ICJ through the help of treaties, conventions, laws and standards settling international disputes by peaceful means. International Atomic Energy Agency Board’s finding that Iran’s nuclear activities raised questions within the competency of the Security Council and United Nations put Sanctions on Iran for ensuring Global security. Another example is North Korea’s nuclear weapons are less than UK’S nuclear weapons but still they are threat to international security that was the reason USA forcing North Korea to denuclearized to n extent.

ICJ is one of the prominent institution that helped in resolving the long going conflicts among countries. one of the example is of ongoing conflict between Germany and Italy. ICJ Permits Greece to Intervene in Germany v. Italy Immunity Case' referring to:

· United Nations Convention on Jurisdictional Immunities of States and Their Property,

· UN General Assembly, 13 February 1946.

· Statute of the International Court of Justice, 18 April 1946.

· European Convention for the Peaceful Settlement of Disputes, Strasbourg, 29 April 1957.

In contemporary global politics a actor or subject and individual in a social life loves to enjoy their liberty, living life without fear of being attack or exploit by others. This want create insecurities among the people and states, which give sense of idea that having more power may make their survival.
